Narrative:

Air carrier X E120 cleared to land inbound on left base to runway 9 at eyw. Small aircraft Y C172 student pilots in right closed traffic performing touch-and-goes sequenced #2 to follow E120. I observed Y extending right downwind and told him to start turning right base, #2, follow the E120 on a 2 mi final. Spacing appeared sufficient. X reported a cessna in front of him on final. I advised X that the cessna was following him. X said that the cessna was at his 10 O'clock. I advised the cessna to turn back to the right downwind, and X decided to go around. X and Y both landed without problems. X captain called the facility and spoke directly to me. (I was the controller in charge, no supervisor nor management in the facility.)
