Narrative:
We were cleared to push after air carrier a. We pushed back after a air carrier a dc-10 and ground control told us that that was the wrong air carrier aircraft, pull forward to let a air carrier Y B747-400 pass. We started forward and were struck by the taxiing 747. Our right winglet was struck by the left winglet. Damage was repaired and flight departed 1 hour later. Ground control warned air carrier Y to use caution, and that we were not fully into the gate yet.
