Narrative:

Taxiing from chs terminal via txwys a and 3 on taxiway 3. After passing the CAT ii hold point, captain began looking for the runway identify sign while I was looking in the cockpit doing the checklists. I looked up and saw the hold bar and said 'whoa.' at the same time, captain applied brakes. The nose of aircraft was over the hold bar by about 10 ft. The FAA jumpseat rider and tower said nothing. We could not see any runway signs for runway 33. Subsequent takeoff clearance and takeoff were uneventful. Would recommend chs put standard runway signs on this runway.
