Narrative:

On takeoff bct, runway 23, observed other high wing fixed aircraft on opposite side runway going (taxiing) opposite direction. First observed other aircraft just after lift-off and passed well above and right. No radio calls heard on unicom frequency 122.8. No aircraft heard or observed in pattern prior to initiating takeoff roll. Bct is an uncontrolled unicom only airport. Radio calls need to be made in a timely manner. I know I'll be listening and looking a little more closely next time. Maybe a landing light on for takeoff would give added visibility
