Narrative:

Student and I taxi to runup from flying school to FBO. En route to taxi, passing abc ramp area, passing parked aircraft, student did not see baggage cart. Cart hit aircraft on left wing leading edge. Event occurred at night. Loud thump was heard. Wing dent approximately 6 inches by 6 inches in size. Aircraft not on taxiway, but rather transiting the ramp area to FBO. Corrective action: request transit via the taxiway line to FBO. Aborted flight. Taxi back to flying school.
