Narrative:

Departing tonaskett, wa, (WA01) after fly-in breakfast, light winds favoring runway 15 I announced taxiing to runway 15 for departure. At this time a stinson reported entering downwind for runway 15. I waited for him to land. After he landed I checked for traffic (360 degree turn) and began taxi for runway 15. I heard a radio carrier (no voice) so was aware there may be other traffic. I turned on all my external lights. I turned around on the end of the runway and began my takeoff roll. When my tail came up (I'm flying a tela) I saw a varieze rolling out on runway 33. I rotated turned right immediately and paralleled the runway. Contributing factors were the variezes inoperative radio, his downwind landing and his white color blending into the runway. Also this type aircraft has a low frontal profile. And, no lights were observed on the varieze.
