Narrative:

ZSE handed aircraft off to sea approach on flight from pdx. We were cleared for visual approach to runway 34R. We commenced checklists landed and cleared the runway at the broad ramp and realized we hadn't been told to contact the tower. Landed without talking to the tower. We called the ground controller who cleared us to parking. Controller sounded ok. After shutdown, we called the tower on the telephone. He said we weren't in trouble, that this happens occasionally. I suspect the cause was preoccupation with our new aircraft, do 328, and the fact we were doing 180 KTS at dondo OM. Many times at sea or pdx, we haven't been handed to tower by approach because their workload and have managed to catch it. This on got by us.
