Narrative:

A maintenance discrepancy late in the day caused a delay which put us into our final destination late. I inadvertently (due to fatigue) failed to notice that flying the last leg would violate the commencement of compensatory rest law. I suspect that if I had noticed and refused to fly the last leg, I would have faced disciplinary action, as the dispatcher sounded annoyed because of the delay. How much longer must we endure this abusive scheduling? I'm no longer 24 years old. I'm 44 years old. I no longer have the resiliency of my youth.

Narrative: A MAINT DISCREPANCY LATE IN THE DAY CAUSED A DELAY WHICH PUT US INTO OUR FINAL DEST LATE.
