Narrative:

After takeoff from phl, we were informed by departure control that we were using the incorrect code in the transponder. We were told to squawk the appropriate code which they gave us. We then realized that we had failed to receive the clearance via the pre departure clearance system and subsequently took off without a clearance. The flight continued uneventfully on the filed flight plan.
