Narrative:

Captain became incapacitated. Diverted to slc for medical assistance. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: callback to reporter revealed that this flight crew had been on a 7 day trip, using foreign airspace. Flight had gone to bombay where the crew stayed 3 days. After this period the PIC complained of not being able to sleep very well as his stomach felt upset, but not bad enough for him to go off on sick leave. The last leg originated at fra after a 24 hour layover. The reporter, the first officer, was just getting back into the cockpit after a short break, and the PIC was getting out of his seat for a stretch. He was sitting on the jump seat when the first officer heard a thump, turned and saw the captain wedged between the seats, totally catatonic. A male cabin attendant and an onboard doctor assisted the captain to the cabin. Flight was abeam slc, fortunately, so the 2 first officer's diverted there for medical assistance. To this date the captain is not back on schedule as yet. He passed his mri with more testing to go. The PIC commutes from fla to lax for his trips. The reporter was off 1 day after this trip and went out on another 7 day trip.
