Narrative:

Tower told us to taxi into position and hold after boeing 747 landed. Once there, tower told us to apply takeoff power and be ready for immediate traffic on final. Once B747 was 3/4 clear, tower gave us immediate takeoff. Upon rotation tail of B747 was near edge of runway, but clear. In hindsight, I probably should not have accepted takeoff clearance and taxied clear of runway. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that the empennage of the 747 was not completely clear of the runway as they were cleared. Tower told 747 to expedite. They pwred up to clear the runway and reporter aircraft got into wake from the power up. Reporter aircraft was making an intersection takeoff.

Title: CORP ACFT ENCOUNTERS WAKE FROM 747 AT ROTATION WHEN CLRED INTXN TKOF BEHIND LNDG WDB.

Narrative: TWR TOLD US TO TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD AFTER BOEING 747 LANDED. ONCE THERE, TWR TOLD US TO APPLY TKOF PWR AND BE READY FOR IMMEDIATE TFC ON FINAL. ONCE B747 WAS 3/4 CLR, TWR GAVE US IMMEDIATE TKOF. UPON ROTATION TAIL OF B747 WAS NEAR EDGE OF RWY, BUT CLR. IN HINDSIGHT, I PROBABLY SHOULD NOT HAVE ACCEPTED TKOF CLRNC AND TAXIED CLR OF RWY. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES THAT THE EMPENNAGE OF THE 747 WAS NOT COMPLETELY CLR OF THE RWY AS THEY WERE CLRED. TWR TOLD 747 TO EXPEDITE. THEY PWRED UP TO CLR THE RWY AND RPTR ACFT GOT INTO WAKE FROM THE PWR UP. RPTR ACFT WAS MAKING AN INTXN TKOF.
