Narrative:

I was flying a news gathering helicopter in uncontrolled airspace filming a car chase involving about 50 patrol cars. I observed another black helicopter apparently attempting to film the chase scene also. I informed my observer and camera man of the other helicopter. I directed the observer seated in the front seat to always maintain visual contact with the black helicopter. At one point during the chase, the black helicopter turned towards my helicopter and my observer yelled 'he's trying to ram us.' I made an emergency turn to avoid the black helicopter. This situation could have been avoided if the pilot of the black helicopter would talk and listen on the common advisory frequency used by helicopter operators in the tulsa area.
