Narrative:

As PNF during departure, contacted company with out and off times. Was notified that my wallet was found by the hotel (license inside wallet). This was the first time I was aware I was PIC without my license. Upon landing at the destination airport, I contacted my chief pilot and was then faxed my credentials from the FAA. I flew 2 legs (1 1/2) without my license before I was aware of my missing wallet. Part of my future preflight will include a credentials check.

Narrative: AS PNF DURING DEP, CONTACTED COMPANY WITH OUT AND OFF TIMES. WAS NOTIFIED THAT MY WALLET WAS FOUND BY THE HOTEL (LICENSE INSIDE WALLET).
