Narrative:

Experienced #1 engine spooldown. This has been a past problem on aircraft and in each case normal operation has been established within 2 mins according to air carrier pink bulletin #123. The bulletin was canceled 2-X-94 accordingly because problem was corrected on all engines. Normal operation on my aircraft was established by following these recommended procedures. Initial emergency was declared for a habital altitude because the aircraft will not fly at FL350 with 1 engine at mct and the other at flight idle. Emergency was declared also because the ATC frequency was very busy and we needed to start down right away. After procedure was accomplished and I was satisfied as to normal operation-and we had in fact experienced a spooldown in flight. I declared the emergency over and continued flight. To dfw with no further occurrence.
