Air carrier X flight intrail to charlotte, nc, at FL280 was descended to FL270 to avoid faster traffic behind and came into conflict with an air carrier Y jet to atlanta at FL270 wbound. At time of incident I was engaged in other d-side functions and could not analyze clrncs by r-side

Narrative: ACR X FLT INTRAIL TO CHARLOTTE, NC, AT FL280 WAS DSNDED TO FL270 TO AVOID FASTER TFC BEHIND AND CAME INTO CONFLICT WITH AN ACR Y JET TO ATLANTA AT FL270 WBOUND. AT TIME OF INCIDENT I WAS ENGAGED IN OTHER D-SIDE FUNCTIONS AND COULD NOT ANALYZE CLRNCS BY R-SIDE
