Narrative:

G-2 turned left downwind to left base right in front of me as I was on approach to hospital. I should have told the G-2's pilot that I thought we may have a conflict. I assumed he would see me or ask. He called left downwind and left base but did not ask where I was. The G-2's pilot may have been in a hurry, as he asked for rapid turnaround on his fuel. G-2 did not have his landing light on. I did, however, I don't think he ever saw me. I saw no evasive maneuver. On my descent, the G-2's downwind leg would have been at my 10 O'clock position. The sun and landing site (hospital) were at my 2 O'clock position. The sun may have contributed to me not seeing him until late.
