Narrative:
On 2/thu/94, while working in the tpa tower, I noticed the runway lights for 18R/36L were off. The lighting panel indicated they were on. I had to recycle to get them back on. I know I have advised the supervisor on the past of this problem. This equipment problem could put aircraft in a very dangerous situation.
