Narrative:

I was PIC on a scheduled flight with a door seal deferred. Due to icing conditions we climbed to 11000. Deferral stated a limit of 10000 ft. Both crew were extremely tired from a lack of sleep. Our hotel was very noisy. One way to aid in not making this mistake is to placard to altitude preselector, which is in view. MEL sticker in this instance was out of view. Supplemental information from acn 263148: neither the captain or myself recall the altitude we were at that day, however, the FAA pulled tapes from cleveland center and apparently we were there.
