Narrative:

The electronics compartment door was left open after maintenance action and the aircraft departed. Would not pressurize and air returned. The door warning was found to be inoperative, thus not indicating to ground and flcs that this door was not properly secured. What can be done to prevent a reoccurrence? Install banners like some of our other aircraft are equipped with.

Title: FLT CREW OF AN MLG RETURN LAND DUE TO LACK OF PRESSURIZATION AFTER TKOF CAUSED BY THE ELECTRONIC ACCESS DOOR LEFT OPEN BY MAINT.

Narrative: THE ELECTRONICS COMPARTMENT DOOR WAS LEFT OPEN AFTER MAINT ACTION AND THE ACFT DEPARTED. WOULD NOT PRESSURIZE AND AIR RETURNED. THE DOOR WARNING WAS FOUND TO BE INOP, THUS NOT INDICATING TO GND AND FLCS THAT THIS DOOR WAS NOT PROPERLY SECURED. WHAT CAN BE DONE TO PREVENT A REOCCURRENCE? INSTALL BANNERS LIKE SOME OF OUR OTHER ACFT ARE EQUIPPED WITH.
