Narrative:

'A' autoplt in command function with INS selected aircraft began a gradual roll to right. Autoplt was disconnected at 25 degrees bank and aircraft immediately pitched up sharply. Altitude went to 29500 and was immediately corrected back to 29000 ft. 'B' used for rest of flight. Operation normal. Suggest ground testing of autoplt system.

Narrative: 'A' AUTOPLT IN COMMAND FUNCTION WITH INS SELECTED ACFT BEGAN A GRADUAL ROLL TO R. AUTOPLT WAS DISCONNECTED AT 25 DEGS BANK AND ACFT IMMEDIATELY PITCHED UP SHARPLY.
