Narrative:
Climbing through 35000 ft engine #2 failed without warning or prior indication of any malfunction. Declared emergency and descended to FL280. Diverted to nearest suitable airport which was cle. Attempted 2 restarts before securing engine. Performed single engine landing check along with normal checklist and landed without incident. Supplemental information from acn 258758: parameters checked, no obvious reason for engine failure. Declared emergency. Attempted relight unsuccessfully.

Narrative: CLBING THROUGH 35000 FT ENG #2 FAILED WITHOUT WARNING OR PRIOR INDICATION OF ANY MALFUNCTION. DECLARED EMER AND DSNDED TO FL280. DIVERTED TO NEAREST SUITABLE ARPT WHICH WAS CLE. ATTEMPTED 2 RESTARTS BEFORE SECURING ENG. PERFORMED SINGLE ENG LNDG CHK ALONG WITH NORMAL CHKLIST AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM ACN 258758: PARAMETERS CHKED, NO OBVIOUS REASON FOR ENG FAILURE. DECLARED EMER. ATTEMPTED RELIGHT UNSUCCESSFULLY.
