Narrative:

Upon block out captain followed marshaller's instructions. During taxi out to taxiway ramp informed us we had r-hand wingtip contact with left wingtip of heavy transport parked next to us. Damage amounted to a 6 inch crease in tip to both aircraft. Problem is with my carrier -- they park aircraft too close together. Also, marshallers do not pay attention to environment around them and aircraft.
