Narrative:

After departure from pit, pit departure advised we were on wrong transponder. Entered correct transponder code and continued flight to scheduled destination (cmh). Upon arrival, cmh realized the reason for wrong transponder code was we failed to receive pre departure clearance clearance at pit.
