Narrative:

After arrival in cancun and after departure from cockpit, a mechanic informed me that there was damage on the underside of aircraft near the tail. I inspected the scrape and made a sketch of the damage. We noticed nothing unusual on takeoff from hou, en route, or on landing in cancun. Supplemental information from acn 257359: on initial walk-around, I did not notice anything unusual with regard to the aircraft. It was completely dark at this time, I had my flashlight and checked the normal preflight items. I did not have occasion to walk under the rear location of the aircraft where the maintenance discovery was later detected.
