Narrative:
On 26L phx, eagul 2 departure, both pilots misread the DME point to turn to 360 degrees. DME is printed sideways on the graphic depiction on the commercial chart and was interpreted to be 6 vice 9 by both pilots. Suggest printing DME figures the same direction as balance of chart.

Narrative: ON 26L PHX, EAGUL 2 DEP, BOTH PLTS MISREAD THE DME POINT TO TURN TO 360 DEGS. DME IS PRINTED SIDEWAYS ON THE GRAPHIC DEPICTION ON THE COMMERCIAL CHART AND WAS INTERPRETED TO BE 6 VICE 9 BY BOTH PLTS. SUGGEST PRINTING DME FIGURES THE SAME DIRECTION AS BAL OF CHART.
