Narrative:
Recurring beacon problem. Air carrier X, an medium large transport, inbound to tpa at 10000. ARTS track left the target to the northeast at a fast rate. The air carrier X flight was untagged for about 8 NM. The tag eventually went into coast status and re-acquired with no further problems.

Narrative: RECURRING BEACON PROB. ACR X, AN MLG, INBOUND TO TPA AT 10000. ARTS TRACK LEFT THE TARGET TO THE NE AT A FAST RATE. THE ACR X FLT WAS UNTAGGED FOR ABOUT 8 NM. THE TAG EVENTUALLY WENT INTO COAST STATUS AND RE-ACQUIRED WITH NO FURTHER PROBS.
