Narrative:
I did a high speed fly-by at oshkosh without receiving a pilot briefing beforehand, although the tower did clear me for a 'high speed low approach.' this occurred at XA15 am and I wrongly assumed that I did not necessarily have to have a briefing beforehand. Although it is unusual to be allowed to do fly-bys at oshkosh, the tower did clear me to do it. I also had 3 passenger on board.

Narrative: I DID A HIGH SPD FLY-BY AT OSHKOSH WITHOUT RECEIVING A PLT BRIEFING BEFOREHAND, ALTHOUGH THE TWR DID CLR ME FOR A 'HIGH SPD LOW APCH.' THIS OCCURRED AT XA15 AM AND I WRONGLY ASSUMED THAT I DID NOT NECESSARILY HAVE TO HAVE A BRIEFING BEFOREHAND. ALTHOUGH IT IS UNUSUAL TO BE ALLOWED TO DO FLY-BYS AT OSHKOSH, THE TWR DID CLR ME TO DO IT. I ALSO HAD 3 PAX ON BOARD.
