Narrative:

I did a touch-and-go in the providence arsa thinking the airport was north central state. The problem was that I was flying over the area too low. I did not know the area at all. Solution: I will from now on always fly above arsa's, and I will always use a VOR radial for arsa separation. I will always make firm identify of any airport I plan to land at.

Title: PVT PLT OF AN SMA SEL ACFT INADVERTENTLY MADE A TOUCH AND GO LNDG AT THE WRONG ARPT WHICH HAPPENED TO BE IN CLASS C AIRSPACE (ARSA) WITHOUT CONTACTING EITHER APCH CTL OR THE TWR.

Narrative: I DID A TOUCH-AND-GO IN THE PROVIDENCE ARSA THINKING THE ARPT WAS NORTH CENTRAL STATE. THE PROB WAS THAT I WAS FLYING OVER THE AREA TOO LOW. I DID NOT KNOW THE AREA AT ALL. SOLUTION: I WILL FROM NOW ON ALWAYS FLY ABOVE ARSA'S, AND I WILL ALWAYS USE A VOR RADIAL FOR ARSA SEPARATION. I WILL ALWAYS MAKE FIRM IDENT OF ANY ARPT I PLAN TO LAND AT.
