Narrative:
Msp tower is using minimum spacing between aircraft departing and landing on the same runway. The week of aug/xx I had to go around once due to aircraft on the runway. Another time, the departing aircraft lifted off while my aircraft was 100 ft in the air. On aug/tue, my aircraft was in the flare before the departing aircraft was airborne. At no other airport in the continental united states, caribbean, or mexico, have I seen spacing so close, including lga, bos, dtw, ord, and other airports that have aircraft landing and departing on the same runway. I believe the situation at msp is an accident waiting to happen, and I personally will not accept such minimum spacing again.

Title: AN ACR MLG CAPT COMPLAINS ABOUT THE VERY SHORT INTERVAL BTWN LNDG ACFT AND TKOF ACFT AT MSP.
Narrative: MSP TWR IS USING MINIMUM SPACING BTWN ACFT DEPARTING AND LNDG ON THE SAME RWY. THE WK OF AUG/XX I HAD TO GAR ONCE DUE TO ACFT ON THE RWY. ANOTHER TIME, THE DEPARTING ACFT LIFTED OFF WHILE MY ACFT WAS 100 FT IN THE AIR. ON AUG/TUE, MY ACFT WAS IN THE FLARE BEFORE THE DEPARTING ACFT WAS AIRBORNE. AT NO OTHER ARPT IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, CARIBBEAN, OR MEXICO, HAVE I SEEN SPACING SO CLOSE, INCLUDING LGA, BOS, DTW, ORD, AND OTHER ARPTS THAT HAVE ACFT LNDG AND DEPARTING ON THE SAME RWY. I BELIEVE THE SIT AT MSP IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN, AND I PERSONALLY WILL NOT ACCEPT SUCH MINIMUM SPACING AGAIN.
