Narrative:

Vectors to visual approach. Cleared to and descending to 4000 ft. Cleared for visual approach as we approached 4000 ft. 4000 ft is floor of TCA in that area. Cautioned first officer to maintain 4000 ft until GS intercept to remain in TCA. I got busy for a second. Crosschecked altimeter, we were at 3700 ft. Cautioned first officer again. We maintained 3700 ft briefly as GS captured. Slight deviation but still a deviation. Based on conversations I've had, many flight crew members are unaware of the far requiring aircraft to stay in TCA when landing at primary airport.
