Narrative:

On localizer DME (back course) runway 29, yakutat at 6 DME, 1300 ft MSL on centerline. Field just in sight (WX at 1700 plus, light rain showers). Spotted high wing red/black aircraft (possible tail dragger) clibing up at us on extended centerline runway 9. No lights on his aircraft. We both moved slightly left and passed right to right (he went under our right wing at 400 ft below us). We continued into an uneventful landing at yak, runway 29. We again checked with jnu radio/yak traffic on CTAF 123.6 (immediately after occurrence at 6 DME, 1300 ft MSL). Jnu radio reported 'no known traffic in area' and we then reported 'a close one.'
