Narrative:

Cpr X departed sdf. I initially assigned cpr X 290 degree heading, altitude 10000 ft. Reevaluating the situation, I reassigned cpr X 5000 ft and a heading of 240 degrees. Cpr X read back the corrected clearance. Approximately 2 mins later, I observed cpr X in dangerous proximity to cpr Y. I issued an immediate descent to cpr X. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated both aircraft were light transport's and IFR. The aircraft did not see each other. Conflict alert activated at the same time the reporter noticed the altitude deviation. Targets merged with 200 ft vertical separation. Pilot deviation was filed.
