Narrative:

I am a contract pilot for a jet charter company. Upon return to home base at burbank, ca, I was directed by a company vice president and maintenance personnel to taxi their new mdt into their hangar bay. 1 main engine and APU were running. Evaluations: 1) I allowed pressure of a new employer to compromise safety of my aircraft and those inside the hangar. 2) I relinquished my command to individuals outside the aircraft because they did not want to take time to tow the aircraft. Corrective action: it will never happen again in my career. Management has been so informed.
