Narrative:

I drove my car on the apron area. A friend was flying my plane and I wanted to advise him that the engine required leaning on the ground. There was no accident or incident but the tower and ramp people were upset with me. Tower said I interfered with the taxi of 1 aircraft. I was not endangering anyone and believe this issue was blown out of proportion. The ramp personnel spoke with me to advise that no vehicles are allowed past the white line on the taxiway. In the future, I will not drive past the white line. I believe communication on this topic is lacking and signs should be posted, due to the lack of security gates at the airport.
