Narrative:
I made a normal approach to landing and when I landed I got less than expected braking action (dew is a grass field). The airplane ran off the end of the runway at about 5-10 KTS. Looking back, I used up a little bit of runway when landing, probably because I was a little high. I should have done a go around, but at the time I felt I had plenty of room to stop the plane. But I did not get the braking action I expected.
