Narrative:

After takeoff from an uncontrolled airport southeast of batavia, ny, in an small transport, I experienced rapid fluctuations of oil pressure on left engine, with corresponding annunciator light. At about 200 ft AGL, I banked the aircraft about 45 degrees to the left so as to make an emergency landing on opposite runway. Upon rolling out of turn on final for runway 10, I noticed a departure of a biplane in front of me. I banked hard to the right, entered a downwind for runway 28, and landed without mishap. My concern was with deviation from standard traffic pattern for emergency return. No injuries or aircraft damage was reported.
