Narrative:

Had a 36 min turn at tpa. Very short layover in mia. Only chance to get something to eat was at tpa. Went via train to main terminal and went to taco bell express. Brought food back to aircraft. Found jetway locked. Had to get agent to open door. Had about 10 mins to get ATIS, clearance, prepare for departure and eat. I shoved food down my throat as fast as I could (great for digestion). I finished before we pushed. During taxi out, flight attendant called to remind us seat belt sign off. Captain turned sign on. We then realized captain forgot to call for before start (above the line -- we did below the line items prior to start) and I was so busy eating before departure that I didn't realize captain hadn't called for checklists. We ran the checklist at that time to verify we didn't miss anything else. I guess I just need to be more aware of what needs to be done even as I rush to eat.
