Narrative:

I departed gnv and did not turn directly to my heading due to traffic. Continued on the wrong heading and then turned back to my planned heading. Became very disoriented -- circling areas, trying to locate myself. I don't believe I entered any restr area, but was very disoriented. Contacted FSS, which then had me contact ZJX. No frequency could find my position. Tried handing me off to other frequency, but no contact could be made. Squawked 7700, then used my VOR which led me back to gnv to land again. My instructor and another instructor met me at gnv and we flew back to dab.
