Narrative:
Left main gear lock light did not illuminate 'safe' prior to landing at jra. Rfm procedures used. Problem idented and corrected. Subsequent ferry flight may have required ferry permit. Next time I'll insure to resolve this prior to acting. Thought about it only afterwards. Operations manual changed to cover this situation.

Narrative: L MAIN GEAR LOCK LIGHT DID NOT ILLUMINATE 'SAFE' PRIOR TO LNDG AT JRA. RFM PROCS USED. PROB IDENTED AND CORRECTED. SUBSEQUENT FERRY FLT MAY HAVE REQUIRED FERRY PERMIT.
