Narrative:

We were cleared to taxi to runway 23L, hold short runway 28 at Z. At Z, tower cleared us in position and hold runway 23R. We taxied into position and hold on the left runway. I brought it to the captain's attention. As we tried to clear the runway, an aircraft initiated a go around. Tower then immediately cleared us for takeoff on runway 23L. I think this could have been avoided by 2 things: first, the new runway and taxi signs are confusing at Z (you actually are holding short of 2 runways, yet there is only 1 sign). Second, the controller should have cleared us to 'cross runway 28 and runway 23L for position and hold on runway 23R.'

Title: AN ACR MLG CAUSED ANOTHER ACFT TO GAR WHEN THE ACR TAXIED ONTO THE WRONG RWY FOR TKOF AT CLE.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 23L, HOLD SHORT RWY 28 AT Z. AT Z, TWR CLRED US IN POS AND HOLD RWY 23R. WE TAXIED INTO POS AND HOLD ON THE L RWY. I BROUGHT IT TO THE CAPT'S ATTN. AS WE TRIED TO CLR THE RWY, AN ACFT INITIATED A GAR. TWR THEN IMMEDIATELY CLRED US FOR TKOF ON RWY 23L. I THINK THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED BY 2 THINGS: FIRST, THE NEW RWY AND TAXI SIGNS ARE CONFUSING AT Z (YOU ACTUALLY ARE HOLDING SHORT OF 2 RWYS, YET THERE IS ONLY 1 SIGN). SECOND, THE CTLR SHOULD HAVE CLRED US TO 'CROSS RWY 28 AND RWY 23L FOR POS AND HOLD ON RWY 23R.'
