Narrative:

In sum: a hot air balloon, with 1 pilot and 1 passenger, landed in a hay field at dusk. The reporting pilot did not see all of a power line that teed, 1 leg going to a farm house well clear of his flight path. The unseen power line crossed his flight path and was supported by a pole that was obscured by trees. The balloon contacted the power line just above the burner in the skirt. Several small holes were torn and burned in the skirt and envelope. The balloon slid off of the power line with minor damage and no injury. The proper authorities were notified.
