Narrative:

WX forecast and actual on departing bqn for jfk was acceptable. Fuel over destination was in accord with company policy and WX. En route company advised of a line of WX moving into jfk area. Further advised arrival should be ahead of line. Vectored for VOR/DME 13L approach then resequenced for ILS 22L approach due to thunderstorm along VOR/DME 13L approach moving toward airport. On ILS after being given clearance for approach was told of wind shear on field. GS flags appeared with resulting missed approach and immediate turn to avoid thunderstorm cell. Ny TRACON was very helpful with vectors. Went through some moderate turbulence on climb out. Due to vectors away from ny and low altitude arrival, fuel at phl, our alternate, appeared low. Declared minimum fuel to receive quick handling without delays. Landed phl ahead of a second line. What would I change? My respect for fast developing, fast moving thunderstorm cells is much healthier. I'd plan for more margin when conditions were right for their development.

WENT THROUGH SOME MODERATE TURB ON CLBOUT. DUE TO VECTORS AWAY FROM NY AND LOW ALT ARR, FUEL AT PHL, OUR ALTERNATE, APPEARED LOW. DECLARED MINIMUM FUEL TO RECEIVE QUICK HANDLING WITHOUT DELAYS.
