Narrative:

After departing bwi we were given direct bustr then direct ihd. The fmcs after bustr had a map shift. We were advised by ATC that our heading for ihd was not correct. We then flew headings and manually tuned vors to fly the filed route. The FMC was unable to correct itself. There was no problem on the remainder of the flight to sfo.

Title: LGT HAS MAP SHIFT ON FMC, NAV ERROR.

Narrative: AFTER DEPARTING BWI WE WERE GIVEN DIRECT BUSTR THEN DIRECT IHD. THE FMCS AFTER BUSTR HAD A MAP SHIFT. WE WERE ADVISED BY ATC THAT OUR HDG FOR IHD WAS NOT CORRECT. WE THEN FLEW HDGS AND MANUALLY TUNED VORS TO FLY THE FILED RTE. THE FMC WAS UNABLE TO CORRECT ITSELF. THERE WAS NO PROB ON THE REMAINDER OF THE FLT TO SFO.
