Narrative:

Rolling of light transport aircraft on several occasions only on deadhead legs or with friends on board, having to do with the cracking in the empennage area. Cracking could be attributed to excessive reversing to save brakes (almost 1200 lndgs between new brakes). Mach trim disconnected almost 98 percent of the time except after inspection by outside maintenance facility. Mach trim cannon plug should be safetied and sealed to eliminate tampering. Gear warning horn disconnected except when lowering flaps beyond 25 degrees with the gear in the up position. There is a paper trail not documented in the aircraft logs at FBO-a (ind/den) and also at FBO-B (tus). Professional transport pilots should not be test pilots and these conditions should be rectified to maintain this respective aircraft in an airworthy condition. Also, mechanics signing off an inspection with the respective items open and performing the inspection as a progressive inspection when not certified to do so on this aircraft should not be permitted by the FAA. Several letters have been written by ARTCC in the northeast corridor concerning this aircraft about its persistence about staying at altitude until within gliding distance to the airport. Fuel probes are not accurate and need replacement.

Title: A CPR LTT PLT COMPLAINS OF AEROBATIC MANEUVERS PERFORMED BY HIS CHIEF PLT AND SUBSTANDARD MAINT PERFORMED BY 2 FBO'S. HE ALSO COMPLAINS ABOUT THE FUEL TANK PROBES AND CRACKING IN THE EMPENNAGE AREA.

Narrative: ROLLING OF LTT ACFT ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS ONLY ON DEADHEAD LEGS OR WITH FRIENDS ON BOARD, HAVING TO DO WITH THE CRACKING IN THE EMPENNAGE AREA. CRACKING COULD BE ATTRIBUTED TO EXCESSIVE REVERSING TO SAVE BRAKES (ALMOST 1200 LNDGS BTWN NEW BRAKES). MACH TRIM DISCONNECTED ALMOST 98 PERCENT OF THE TIME EXCEPT AFTER INSPECTION BY OUTSIDE MAINT FACILITY. MACH TRIM CANNON PLUG SHOULD BE SAFETIED AND SEALED TO ELIMINATE TAMPERING. GEAR WARNING HORN DISCONNECTED EXCEPT WHEN LOWERING FLAPS BEYOND 25 DEGS WITH THE GEAR IN THE UP POS. THERE IS A PAPER TRAIL NOT DOCUMENTED IN THE ACFT LOGS AT FBO-A (IND/DEN) AND ALSO AT FBO-B (TUS). PROFESSIONAL TRANSPORT PLTS SHOULD NOT BE TEST PLTS AND THESE CONDITIONS SHOULD BE RECTIFIED TO MAINTAIN THIS RESPECTIVE ACFT IN AN AIRWORTHY CONDITION. ALSO, MECHS SIGNING OFF AN INSPECTION WITH THE RESPECTIVE ITEMS OPEN AND PERFORMING THE INSPECTION AS A PROGRESSIVE INSPECTION WHEN NOT CERTIFIED TO DO SO ON THIS ACFT SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED BY THE FAA. SEVERAL LETTERS HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY ARTCC IN THE NE CORRIDOR CONCERNING THIS ACFT ABOUT ITS PERSISTENCE ABOUT STAYING AT ALT UNTIL WITHIN GLIDING DISTANCE TO THE ARPT. FUEL PROBES ARE NOT ACCURATE AND NEED REPLACEMENT.
