Narrative:

We requested clearance from ground control to taxi to the active runway with the current ATIS information. We were cleared to taxi from our assigned gate to the active runway 31R as announced on the current ATIS. The captain began taxiing as instructed, and I, the first officer, began to read the taxi checklist items. In between items, I looked outside the aircraft and, at 1 point, noticed the captain had made a wrong turn and crossed a non- active runway en route to 13L not 31R. I brought it to the captain's attention and dsm ground advised us that he cleared us to runway 31R not 13L and cleared us from our present position, a 180 degree turn and taxi to 31R. The captain reviewed the current wind conditions which were a 90 degree crosswind to either runway. He instructed me to request clearance to 13L. We were then cleared to taxi from present position to 13L and did so without incident. Contributing factors to the mishap were the captain's loss of situational awareness. He thought we were supposed to taxi to 13L not 31R. I also feel his taxi speed is excessive and I have told him so in the past. I also feel my inadequate division of attention was a factor. I had my head down reading the taxi checklist and was not looking outside the aircraft when the captain made the wrong turn. I also think we were both a little fatigued after flying a long wkend in IFR conditions.

Title: ACR LTT PIC TAXIES TOWARDS WRONG RWY. AND TOO RAPIDLY.

Narrative: WE REQUESTED CLRNC FROM GND CTL TO TAXI TO THE ACTIVE RWY WITH THE CURRENT ATIS INFO. WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI FROM OUR ASSIGNED GATE TO THE ACTIVE RWY 31R AS ANNOUNCED ON THE CURRENT ATIS.
