For information only -- we showed a landing gear was unsafe (nosewheel). Missed approach and retracted gear as per company procedures. After retraction, got nosewheel steering fault. Discussed problem with company dispatch and company maintenance. Declared emergency due to no nosewheel steering. Landing was normal with medium brakes, no steering. Pinned gear and was towed to the gate.
