Narrative:

Aircraft struck cabin service truck while parking at gate. I was following signals of the marshaller and was approximately 4 ft from the stopping point at impact, the marshaller continued to signal us in after the impact. He could not see the wing because of the jetway. I recommend strict use of wing walkers when lead marshaller cannot see all of aircraft. There was no wing walker on the damaged wing tip.

Title: LGT TAXIING TO GATE WITH MARSHALLER GUIDANCE HITS TRUCK.

Narrative: ACFT STRUCK CABIN SVC TRUCK WHILE PARKING AT GATE. I WAS FOLLOWING SIGNALS OF THE MARSHALLER AND WAS APPROX 4 FT FROM THE STOPPING POINT AT IMPACT, THE MARSHALLER CONTINUED TO SIGNAL US IN AFTER THE IMPACT. HE COULD NOT SEE THE WING BECAUSE OF THE JETWAY. I RECOMMEND STRICT USE OF WING WALKERS WHEN LEAD MARSHALLER CANNOT SEE ALL OF ACFT. THERE WAS NO WING WALKER ON THE DAMAGED WING TIP.
