Narrative:

Air carrier medium large transport, en route from mco to dca at 29000 ft on the chs 030 degree radial, 40 NM northeast. The TCASII RA alert showed conflicting traffic at 11 O'clock at 300 ft below our altitude. The RA showed a 300 FPM climb to clear the conflict. The captain did just that. We told ZJX of our deviation and they then cleared us back down to 29000 ft. The other aircraft was an light transport and center said they confirmed that they were at 28000 ft.
