Narrative:

We were taxiing to runway 14 at srq. We were told to hold short of runway 4 (for landing traffic), the first officer was taxiing while I read the checklist. Suddenly, the ground controller yelled over the radio 'air shuttle, hold short for landing traffic.' we had crossed the hold short line already, and immediately applied full braking. The aircraft was on short final, and did a touch-and-go safely. We were a few ft from the runway edge. We then crossed and continued to runway 14. The problem was not paying attention to runway markings and having my attention somewhere it shouldn't have been. I'll pay more attention in the future.
