Narrative:

During takeoff rotation, captain experienced lateral control difficulties. Using fuel tanks (which had been checked and balanced prior to takeoff) now indicated 3000 pound split. After additional gauge testing, wing fuel tanks indicated 14000 pound split. Based on the captain's control inputs, the 14000 pound split was assumed to be accurate and fuel was transferred to alleviate the imbal. Due to shortage of fuel from what had been indicated at dispatch, priority handling was requested by the captain to make destination with required fuel reserves and to avoid an unscheduled fuel stop. Could be plane specific or fleetwide widebody transport indicating glitch.
